Kesha claims she was offered contract deal

Kesha has suggested she would be allowed out of her recording contract - if she admitted she "lied" about being sexually assaulted. A judge ruled in February that the 'Tik Tok' hitmaker could not be released from her exclusive deal with Dr. Luke and Sony Music despite claiming she had been abused by the producer, and she has now hinted the company had offered her "freedom" in exchange for making a public apology for her claims. She posted on Instagram: "so. I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie. I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors. (sic)" But the 29-year-old star insisted she would rather her career be over than withdraw her allegations. She added: "I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again.(sic)" Kesha's mother, Rosemary Patricia 'Pebe' Sebert, recently admitted her daughter is doing "much better" since the court ruling, and was relieved to have her situation made public so she could help others. She said: "Kesha is so much better now. "She wasn't comfortable with having to do this, but I think she realised as this thing progressed that she can advocate for sexual abuse or other things. The fact that she is at peace with that has really been healing."
