Kesha has announced a new tour. The 29-year-old singer - who is currently embroiled in a battle with Dr Luke's record label Kemosabe, after accusing him of sexual abuse - took to Twitter on Tuesday (19.07.16) to reveal that she is hitting the road this summer. She wrote on Instagram: "i'm going on tour this summer!!!!! xxxclusive fan pre-sale starts today at 1pm CT, deets coming soon! (sic)." In April, Kesha released her first single since she lost her legal battle with Sony Music, collaborating with Zedd to re-release a version of his song, 'True Colors'. Taking to Twitter to talk about her first new song in three years, she wrote: "#truecolors spoke to me so deeply I had to spread the beautiful message of personal empowerment ... "this is more than a song. it's a declaration of my truth #truecolors (sic)" And Zedd took to Twitter to confirm that he had sought permission to record the track with Kesha. He wrote on the social media site: "ZEDD & KESHA - TRUE COLORS. OFFICIALLY OUT: 4/29 Music can be freedom. "Just to clarify: We didn't use any loopholes. Kemosabe / RCA gave us permission to release. (sic)" Kesha is fighting to be released from her contract over allegations she was sexually assaulted by Dr. Luke, although he denies the claims. An appeal, which she launched against a court decision that she must remain in her contract with the record company, was declined earlier this year.
