Kate enjoys front-row seat next to Roger Federer at Wimbledon

Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, found herself in the best spot at Wimbledon's Centre Court — right in the front row of the Royal Box and seated beside tennis legend Roger Federer - on Tuesday.

Dressed in a chic mint green blazer, the future queen took her place just moments before Federer was honoured ahead of the opening match on Day 2 of the prestigious grass-court tournament.

Sitting between the princess and his wife, Mirka, Federer, an eight-time champion at the All England Club, appeared delighted to share the company of royalty on the second day of the tournament.

The first match of the day featured defending women's champion Elena Rybakina defeating American player Shelby Rogers in 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.

For Kate, her presence at Wimbledon has become somewhat of a regular occurrence since marrying Prince William. However, it's worth noting that the late Queen Elizabeth II, William's grandmother, made only a few visits to the All England Club during her remarkable 70-year reign, with her last appearance in the Royal Box dating back to 2010.

While King Charles III has taken his seat in the Royal Box on occasion, he has not done so since ascending to the throne after his mother's passing.
