Justin Bieber has landed in India and is set to perform at the sangeet ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding in Mumbai.

The Canadian singer-songwriter arrived at Mumbai airport in the early hours of Friday, ahead of the private show.

Bieber's arrival sent fans into a frenzy as he makes his first visit to India since 2017.

The sangeet ceremony, scheduled for July 5 is part of a series of elaborate celebrations leading up to the main wedding event on July 12, which will be held at the Jio World Convention Centre.

The pre-wedding festivities commenced in Jamnagar with notable guests from business, entertainment, and political spheres attending, such as Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and Ivanka Trump.

Guests who attended the previous wedding celebrations for the couple have enjoyed private performances from the likes of Rihanna and Katy Perry.

Illusionist David Blaine wowed guests while Bollywood stars and family members participated in lively sangeet performances, including an appearance by actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh.

The marriage of Radhika Merchant, daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and entrepreneur Shaila Merchant, with the Ambani family marks a significant moment uniting two influential industrialist families.
