It will be livestreamed in the UAE on Amazon Prime Video, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube and the National Geographic channel.

Organised by Global Citizen and the World Health Organisation, the concert will feature a combination of music, comedy and stories from doctors, nurses and grocery workers.

Lady Gaga has curated a star-studded line-up that will feature Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi, The Rolling Stones, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Celine Dion, Billie Eilish, John Legend, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Chris Martin, Andrea Bocelli and Michael Buble, among others.

Several big names from the sporting world, including Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton and World Cup ski racer Lindsey Vonn will make an appearance.

All proceeds from the show will go to the WHO's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, with organisers confirming that the artists will filmed separately in keeping with the social distancing guidelines.
