The director of Doctor Strange, Scott Derrickson, has announced that he has left the sequel.
Reports suggest that Derrickson's decision was based on "creative differences" with Marvel.
Derrickson said in a tweet on Thursday, "Marvel and I have mutually agreed to part ways on Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness due to creative differences. I am thankful for our collaboration and will remain on as EP [executive producer]."
