Adele wastes pizza delivered from 140-miles away

Adele wasted a pizza she had delivered from London to her hotel room in the Cotswolds. The 'Hello' hitmaker is currently staying at the lavish Soho Farmhouse resort north of Oxford, England, and reportedly demanded room service order in the Italian treat from her local takeaway in Kensington, West London, which is 70 miles away. However, by the time it arrived at around 3am, Adele had fallen asleep and staff found the uneaten pizza outside the hotel room, which she shared with her partner Simon Konecki and their three-year-old son Angelo. A source told The Sun newspaper: It was still in the box when the maid came next morning." "She was told they had the best ovens. But she insisted that staff fetch the pizza from her local company. "A member of staff drove all the way to London and came back with it. "Unfortunately for Adele by that time it was 3am - and she was asleep." According to the insider, the Cotswold resort's staff have to be able to provide whatever their guests require and the pop superstar made sure she had her "home comforts". The source added: "Soho Farmhouse staff members are trained to say yes to anything. "Adele made the most of that. She obviously likes to have her home comforts, even when they are almost 100 miles away." It seems the 28-year-old singer turns to junk food when she needs a pickup as she previously sought comfort in a burger after her Grammys performance was plagued with sound problems back in February. At the time, she said: "The piano mics fell onto the piano strings, that's what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. S*** happens. "Because of it though ... I'm treating myself to an In-n-Out [burger]. So maybe it was worth it. (sic)"
