Abu Dhabi's new waterfront leisure destination set for grand opening

Abu Dhabi's band new leisure and entertainment destination, Yas Bay Waterfront, will open on December 1, just in time for the UAE's Golden Jubilee Celebrations.

The development on Yas Island features a 3 km boardwalk, Pier71, and a variety of world-class dining, leisure, and entertainment concepts, in addition to sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf.

As part of its grand opening, visitors can look forward to an exciting line-up of daily entertainment performances and events with fireworks set to take place every weekend at 9:00 pm all through the month of December.

Yas Bay Waterfront is a key component of Miral’s AED 4 billion investment in the overall AED 12 billion masterplan of Yas Bay.

The vibrant destination will feature unique dining concepts, including the Ibiza styled beach club, Café del Mar, Paradiso - a globally renowned Mediterranean restaurant helmed by both Nicole Rubi, the woman behind La Petite Maison and Michelin star Chef Pierre Gagnaire, and the critically acclaimed Japanese street-food concept, Akiba Dori.

"This new destination supports our vision for Yas Island to become a global convergence for entertainment, leisure and business, as well as an attractive location for partnerships and investment opportunities," said Gurjit Singh, Chief Portfolio Officer at Miral.
