The UAE has been ranked as the best country in the Arab World in terms of attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in 2021.

That's according to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development’s 'World Investment Report'.

The UAE's FDI flows increased from AED 72.7 billion (US$19.88 billion) in 2020 to over AED 76 billion (US$20.7 billion) in 2021.

The report also showed that global flows of FDI recovered to pre-pandemic levels last year (US$1.58 trillion), recording an increase of 64 per cent compared to 2020.
