UAE to waive, slash fees for over 1,500 government services

The UAE government is taking further steps to cut business costs and increase competitiveness.

According to national news agency WAM, the fees for more than 1,500 federal government services are to be cancelled or amended.

It will be applicable on certain services provided by the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

The UAE Cabinet's decision is aimed at promoting economic growth and attracting more foreign investments.
