A German state official expressed interest in expanding bilateral relations with the UAE, further increasing the current trade value of AED 1.16 billion.

That’s according to Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, the Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of Baden-Württemberg.

Machinery and automobile parts are the two major exports from the German state.

As the third-largest German state, they expect to forge new partnerships in clean energy, artificial intelligence, tourism, construction and healthcare.

Transforming to a Hydrogen-based energy system is important to the German state, a source of energy that is being explored by local players in great depth.
