UAE companies paying the cost for bad reputation

Companies in the emirates could be paying a heavy price for having a bad reputation. A LinkedIn study has revealed potential annual costs of around AED 2.2 million to UAE employers with poor employer brands. As well as attracting better staff, a strong employer brand helps with retention and engagement. The study also revealed that one in ten UAE professionals would take a pay cut to work for a company with a better reputation. Ali Matar, Head of LinkedIn Talent Solutions, MENA, and explained the findings of the ‘Winning Talent’ study.
