In the wake of the rapid spread of the coronavirus sweeping China, Starbucks has closed it's outlets and suspended delivery services in Hubei province for the week-long Lunar New Year holiday.

The flu-like virus originated in the capital city of the province, Wuhan, and has caused 41 deaths in China to date.

Starbucks reportedly said that the move stems from "health concerns" for its customers and employees.

The central province of Hubei is home to nearly 60 million people.
