A new digital platform has been unveiled in Dubai, aimed at empowering the next generation of start-ups and entrepreneurs for global growth.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai's Crown Prince and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, announced the launch of 'Ignyte'.

Curated by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Ignyte is a key initiative under the Dubai Digital Economy Strategy, targeting over 100,000 start-ups by 2029.

The new platform connects start-ups and founders with a global network of investors, mentors, and corporate partners, creating a robust growth ecosystem.

To enhance its offerings, Ignyte aims to attract 5,000 venture capitalists, 5,000 vetted mentors, and over 500 corporate and government partners, collectively helping start-ups save more than $100 million through exclusive perks.

Ignyte supports entrepreneurs at every stage, providing access to experienced mentors and valuable networking opportunities. The platform also features an AI-powered marketplace with tailored deals for start-ups.

In addition, Ignyte introduces "Ignyte Challenges," a competitive space for innovators in AI and technology to showcase their skills, with prizes for top performers. Investors can receive direct pitches from start-ups, facilitating connections and streamlining the funding process.

The platform also enables community engagement through event hosting, allowing start-ups to promote their activities to both the Ignyte community and the public.

Ignyte's first phase will be rolled out in Dubai in the fourth quarter of 2024, expanding to the UAE in the first quarter of 2026, and to the GCC in the second quarter of the same year.
