Air France workers attack executives over job cuts

NULL

Angry staff members attacked top Air France executives forcing them to flee after they announced mass job cuts on Monday. The airline's human resources and labour relations chief Xavier Broseta had his shirt ripped off as he escaped the mob of workers. Dramatic footage showed him escape by climbing a fence. He had just announced a cost cutting plan along with Air France Chief Executive Frederic Gagey that included at least 2,900 job cuts. Another executive Pierre Plissonnier also had his shirt and jacket torn. Several people including two security guards were hurt in the ruckus, which took place near Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. The airline said it will pursue legal action over the "aggravated violence".
