The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Dubai Supply Authority (DUSUP) signed a gas sales agreement on Saturday as part of UAE's efforts to achieve climate neutrality.

This is according to a tweet posted by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum on his official Twitter account.

UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, witnessed the signing of the agreement between the two parties.

This agreement is in line with the vision and directives of the wise leadership to turn Dubai into a carbon-neutral economy.

It also supports the country's efforts to provide 100 per cent of Dubai's total power generation capacity from clean energy sources by 2050.
