12 UAE tycoons in Forbes' 2016 Billionaires List

Five Emiratis and seven Indian businessmen living in the emirates have featured in Forbes' 2016 Billionaires List. Combined, the twelve UAE residents have a massive net worth of $36.2 billion (AED 133 billion dirhams). The top ranked Emirati on the list was real estate and retail tycoon Majid Al Futtaim, who has a reported net worth of $5 billion. Micky Jagtiani, owner of the Dubai-based Landmark retail stores group, was the highest ranked Indian on the list with a net worth valued at $4.4.
