World XI register nail-biting finish against Pakistan
The World XI have levelled their Twenty20 series with Pakistan following a last-ball victory in the second game on Wednesday.
Chasing a 175-run target, the visitors won the match in Lahore with seven wickets to spare.
Opener Hashim Amla set the stage with an unbeaten 72 (55 balls) and was aided by Thisara Pereira’s 47 not out (19 balls).
The title decider will be played on Friday, bringing an end to the first major series to be played in Pakistan since the 2009 militant attack on Sri Lanka’s team bus.
