UK issues travel warning after Mozambique attacks
Britain has advised its citizens against travelling to Mozambique, following a series of IS terror attacks in its northeastern region.
Terrorists have killed at least 17 people since May in the Tanzanian border town of Palma.
“The Foreign and Commonwealth Office advice against all but essential travel to the districts of Palma, Mocimboa de Praia and Macomia in Cabo Delgado province due to an increase in attacks by (terror) groups,” the office said in a warning posted on its website.
This comes after the US issued a similar advisory for its citizens.
