UAE’s overall wealth growth projected at 7.4% over next 5 years
The overall growth of wealth in the UAE is apparently projected at 7.4 per cent over the next five years to reach AED2.94 trillion, leading other GCC countries.
That’s according to a new report by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) which says UAE hosts one of the highest densities of the world’s super rich with private wealth witnessing a growth of 8.3 per cent in 2016.
The private wealth growth in the UAE has outpaced global surge of 5.3 per cent in 2016, to AED 611.7 trillion.
It’s said this is primarily driven by accelerating economic growth and strong performance of equity markets.
