UAE’s heritage efforts commended by UNESCO
The Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) has praised the UAE’s efforts in protecting heritage around the world.
Audrey Azoulay met with a number of the UAE’s leaders at the World Government Summit in Dubai, discussing ways to enhance cooperation between the country and the organisation.
Azoulay commended the various global projects undertaken by the Emirates in the areas of education, healthcare and sustainable development.
Meanwhile, the UAE leaders reaffirmed the country’s support for UNESCO’s initiatives and its endeavours in promoting a culture of peace and tolerance.
