UAE funded hospital opens on Comoros Island
UAE FUNDED HOSPITAL OPENS ON COMOROS ISLAND
The largest hospital on the Comoros Islands has been opened thanks to funding from the UAE, according to Emirates news agency WAM.
The modern hospital was funded by the UAE’s Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and is the first of its kind on a tropical island.
Equipped with state-of-the-art-facilities, the new hospital includes a 12-bed intensive care unit, and two wards for radiology and immunisation.
At the opening ceremony, Comoros Island President, Ikililou Dhoinine expressed his profound thanks to the leadership and people of U.A.E. for providing humanitarian support for the people of Comoros.
