UAE condemns Saudi security checkpoint attack
The UAE has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a security checkpoint in Saudi Arabia which left two people dead.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said that the Emirates opposes all criminal acts that threaten international security and stability.
A member of Saudi Arabia’s security forces and a resident were killed in the attack.
Terrorists fired shots from a car at the control point on the outskirts of Buraidah highway in the Qassim Region.
Sergeant Suleiman Abdulaziz Al-Abdullatif was named as the slain guard while a Bangladeshi expatriate was the other victim.
