Trump-Kim talks still on, says US
The US says a planned summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un on June 12 is still on.
This despite threats from North Korea to pull out of the talks, due to take place in Singapore.
Pyongyang has accused Washington of making reckless statements and holding sinister intentions, with blame levelled at US National Security Advisor John Bolton.
The North has already pulled out of Wednesday’s talks with the South as a reaction to joint military drills between South Korea and the US.
State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert says the US considers the June 12 summit to be going ahead.
