Author Zora lives in the multicultural melting pot of Astoria, Queens but has travelled the world and written more than a dozen travel guides for Rough Guides, Lonely Planet and Moon. She is the author of All Strangers Are Kin: Adventures in Arabic and the Arab World, a travel memoir about studying Arabic.
