Thousands of cars recalled in UAE
Following a directive from the Ministry of Economy, car dealers in the UAE are recalling thousands of old and new vehicles in the UAE.
It’s part of a safety recall campaign that looks into issues like defective fuel tanks, airbag sensors and sunroof glasses.
Some of the affected vehicles include Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi Lancer and GMC Terrain that were manufactured between 2012 and 2018.
The ministry had earlier directed UAE auto dealers to conduct a review of all their products to ensure public safety.
