Stricter food safety measures enforced for Ramadan
Dubai Municipality has further enhanced its food control measures to ensure the health and safety of residents during the month of Ramadan.
There will also be stricter control on food temperature levels and its transportation.
The department has been conducting specialised inspections in food warehouses and traditional kitchens for a month now.
Officials added that the inspections will carry on until the end of Ramadan and that traditional food will be supervised more closely due to its popularity during this period.
