Robots could steal 40% of jobs in Middle East: report

Up to 45 per cent of jobs in the Middle East could be replaced by robots, according to report released by McKinsey at the World Government Summit.

McKinsey says the most vulnerable jobs are in manufacturing, transportation and warehousing, which are intensive in routine tasks.

By contrast, healthcare, education and entertainment are the hardest to replace by robots because of the high level of human interaction.
