Premier League

How do you follow up Leicester City’s fairytale title success last season? Easy, attract three of the greatest managers in world football and break the world transfer record, that’s how.

The 2016/17 Premier League season kicks off this weekend (August 13) and it’s already shaping up to be one, if not the, most exciting campaigns EVER.

Antonio Conte (Chelsea), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) and Jose Mourinho (Manchester United) have joined Messers Ranieri, Wenger, Pochettino and Klopp in the dugout while Paul Pogba has become the  most talked about footballer this summer after his £89million move to Manchester United. And courtesy of Dubai Eye 103.8, you won’t miss a kick over the next nine months as we’re once again the official radio broadcaster for the world’s most exciting league.

We’ll have live commentaries every Saturday, Sunday and Monday night with a few Friday evening matches thrown in for an extra treat.

Our coverage begins on the opening weekend at Goodison Park as Everton host Tottenham from 6pm before Pep Guardiola makes his competitive bow as Manchester City boss against Sunderland. Kick off from the Etihad Stadium is at 8.30pm.

On Sunday, last season’s runners-up Arsenal take on Liverpool at the Emirates from 7pm, with our final installment comes from the capital on Monday night as Chelsea welcome West Ham to Stamford Bridge. Our coverage starts from 11pm.

As well as live commentary from the Premier League, tune in to Monday Night Football every week from 7-9pm where our new Head of Sport, Chris McHardy, will dissect, discuss and debate the hot topics from the weekend’s action with a regular panel of big-name guests.
