Pakistan to host West Indies in 2018

The West Indies are set to tour Pakistan next year for a three-match T20 series.

It was confirmed by the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Najam Sethi, who announced that the Windies will tour Pakistan annually for the next five years.

Next year’s series will take place in late March and early April, and comes in place of a tour that was scheduled to take place this month, but was postponed due to logistical challenges.

It’s another big boost for the sport in Pakistan, which has recently had international cricket return to the country in the form of a World XI series and a T20 against Sri Lanka, whose team bus was attacked by terrorists in 2009.

Sethi also said that the sides will compete in a tri-series in the US, with the other team yet to be confirmed.
