WORLD’S BIGGEST FERRIS WHEEL PLANNED IN NEW YORK

New York is getting the world's tallest ferris wheel.

The 190-metre attraction is planned for Staten Island and will be twice the height of the Statue of Liberty.

Offering views of the downtown Manhattan skyline, the New York Wheel will carry 1,440 passengers at a time.

The structure will cost almost $230 million.
