WIKILEAKS FOUNDER SUES AUSSIE PM

Julian Assange has apparently hired lawyers to pursue a defamation case against the Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

A statement released by Australian activist group GetUp! says Mr Assange alleges the PM defamed WikiLeaks in comments made to a radio station in 2010.

She claimed he’d broken the law by releasing hundreds of thousands of US diplomatic cables.
