US RETAIL SEES THEIR BIGGEST GROWTH IN FIVE MONTHS
US retail sales have seen their biggest gain in five months.
Employment growth and lower fuel prices helped with a 0.8% rise in consumer sales for July.
That follows a rise in consumer confidence for the same month – the first rise in half a year.
Meanwhile, the Eurozone has seen economic activity shrink slightly in the second quarter.
GDP growth has come in at point 2 of one per cent.
