UK SCRAMBLES TO BEEF UP SECURITY AHEAD OF OLYMPICS
Up to three and a half thousand extra UK troops are being drafted in to help with security at this summer's Olympics.
The military are being asked to put soldiers on standby after a private firm G4S admitted it's having recruitment problems two weeks before the Games begin.
The country’s Defence Secretary Philip Hammond will announce more details about the extra troops later today.
