UAE RESIDENT TO ATTEMPT EVEREST

A UAE resident is set to make an attempt on the world’s highest mountain.

Atte Miettinen is a Dubai-based expatriate, originally from Finland, attempting to climb the highest peaks on each continent.

It’s a mountaineering challenge known as the ‘Seven Summits’.

So far, he’s completed five of the seven - his goal is climb the remaining two within the next few months.

Atte spoke to ARN News from Base Camp at the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest, in Nepal:
