UAE RANKS GLOBALLY IN COMPETITIVENESS SURVEY

The UAE has been ranked 24th in a new competitiveness report from the World Economic Forum.

That’s up three places from last year.

The index looks at a number of factors from infrastructure to policy to assess how competitive a country is.

Qatar came 11th in the ranking, while Saudi Arabia placed 18th.

Globally, Switzerland was found to be the world’s most competitive economy, followed by Singapore.

The master plan for the new Rashid Hospital has been unveiled. The AED3 billion development will consist of three towers and include six specialised health centres and two hotels.
