UAE CHARITY OFFERS RAMADAN CHARITY ABROAD

The Khalifa bin Zayed Humanitarian Foundation has distributed thousands of Iftar meals among fasters at Palestine’s Al-Aqsa Mosque since the beginning of Ramadan.

It also distributed food parcels among poor and needy families in the West Bank.

The foundation’s allocated 30,000 meals on Palestinian land so far along with thousands of food parcels meant specially for fasters.

Abu Dhabi marks 7.7% growth in 2012
The UAE capital's economy grew 7.7% year on year in 2012. The Statistics Centre, Abu Dhabi attributes it to huge financial surpluses, strong growth in non-oil sectors and high oil prices.
New sensors control speeding by Dubai's taxis
Speeding taxi drivers in Dubai are set to face further controls. The RTA has installed a new system on cabs called AMAN which is a self powered sensor that monitors the vehicles.
World marks 'World Refugee Day' today
Tens of thousands of people across the globe today are marking 'World Refugee Day', in recognition of the situation of refugees worldwide.
