TORTURE CASE CONTINUES WITH COUPLE PLEADING MENTAL INSTABILITY

The father and his pregnant girlfriend accused of torturing and killing his 8-year-old daughter claim they weren’t mentally stable.

Dubai Criminal Court heard how the girlfriend confessed the crime – saying she lost control.

Meanwhile the father said he was receiving medical treatment at the anti-narcotics department of a hospital here.

The pair are charged with imprisoning and torturing the man's two daughters.

The next hearing will be on July 25 to hear witness testimony.
