THE MIDDLE EAST PUTS IN AN OFFER FOR PORTSMOUTH FOOTBALL CLUB
England’s Portsmouth Football Club could soon belong to Middle Eastern owners again.
Details of a 20 million dollar offer were sent to the club’s administrators last Tuesday, according to Arabian Business.
The publication has seen evidence of that sum being deposited into an escrow account at Dubai Bank.
Abu Dhabi’s Sulaiman Al Fahim took over Portsmouth in 2009 when the team played in the Premier League, but Arabian Business has sworn not to reveal names behind the latest bid for the south-coast club.
