Whilst the panel tuck into birthday cake The Grill is packed with live guests and the biggest names in sport from the past week. Doris Matlok came on to talk about her upcoming challenge. A 250km race across the Sahara Desert. Doris is hard in training and good time out to speak to Tom Bushell.

There is no denying that in the world of Golf, it is busy at the moment. Both the European and USPGA tour's continue their busy schedule and of course we had the Ryder Cup last week. In Dubai we are beginning to look forward to the DP World Tour Championship, the conclusion of the race to Dubai. Wayne Johnson, Director of Instruction at JGE joins us on the show to chat about all things golf.

The Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens is once again on the horizon. With organisers promising a bigger and better tournament for 2012 the question is, can England regain the title for a third straight year. Toby Gregory spoke to Ben Ryan, Head Coach of the England sevens team.

The FINA/ARENA Swimming World Cup kicked off in Dubai this week which saw some of the world's best swimmer compete. South Africa's two Olympic gold medalists Chad le Clos and Cameron van der Burgh both enjoyed a successful meet in Dubai and spoke to Tom Bushell after 2 days of competing.

With the news that Lewis Hamilton is to leave McLaren at the end of the season and join Mercedes, Toby Gregory spoke Marc Priestley, McLaren's former Chief Mechanic.

The Ryder Cup victory for the European Team has been hailed as the greatest ever comeback in golf and you will be able to see all those European players at this year's DP World Tour Championship Dubai. Rory McIlroy though almost missed his tee-off time on the final day and had to get a police escort to the course. Ben Jacobs spoke to McIlroy about the episode.

The T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka finished this week as the West Indies take on hosts Sri Lanka. Brian Murgertroyd in Sri Lanka spoke to West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo about their chances.
