SWINE FLU APPEARS IN NEPAL
A strain of the swine flu virus has been detected in parts of Nepal.
It’s been found in blood samples collected in hospitals in Kathmandu and three other districts near the country’s capital.
Authorities say there’s no reason to panic since the disease can be cured if detected in its preliminary stages.
A recent outbreak of viral fever in some districts is thought to be the reason behind the resurgence of the virus.
Prior to this, the virus had hit Nepal in 2009.
