SUICIDES AMONG INDIAN EXPATS INCREASING
 
The recent spurt in the number of suicides involving Indian expats has raised grave concern among community organizations.
 
Last month alone, at least six such incidents were reported in the UAE.
 
A young mother, two blue collared workers, a groom-to-be and a social worker are among those who reportedly took their own lives.
 
Reports suggest mounting debt and financial insecurity were the main reasons behind the cases.
 
K. Kumar from the Indian Community Welfare Committee says it’s never too late to seek help.
