RAK TO BUILD 250 MILLION AED MOSQUE

A mosque accommodating 28,000 worshipers is to be built in Ras Al Khaimah.

According to the national news agency WAM, the AED 250 million project will span an area of 18,000 square meters.

It’ll house an Islamic museum and library, in addition to public service buildings and a Quran memorization center.

The mosque is named after UAE president His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

No timeline has been given for the project’s completion.

The Internet will slow down for du subscribers today and tomorrow, as a scheduled maintenance activity on the company's cables goes underway.
Dubai's small and medium businesses showed high levels of confidence for the first quarter of this year.
A new programme is looking for UAE nationals interested in building their entrepreneurial skills.
