RAK TO BUILD 250 MILLION AED MOSQUE
A mosque accommodating 28,000 worshipers is to be built in Ras Al Khaimah.
According to the national news agency WAM, the AED 250 million project will span an area of 18,000 square meters.
It’ll house an Islamic museum and library, in addition to public service buildings and a Quran memorization center.
The mosque is named after UAE president His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
No timeline has been given for the project’s completion.
