QATAR INVESTORS BUY INTO LONDON PROPERTY COMPANY

Qatari investors have bought almost half of a London property company.

Native Land builds houses in some London's most exclusive neighbourhoods such as Chelsea and Belgravia.

The company said in a statement that a "substantial private Gulf-based investor" had taken a 45% shareholding in the company.

A source familiar with the deal told Reuters the group of investors were from Qatar and were linked to the royal family.
