MAJORITY OF PARENTS SATISFIED WITH EDUCATION IN THE CAPITAL
A recent survey on schools in the capital has revealed that most parents are satisfied with the standard of education offered to their children.
The poll was carried out by the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), who asked approximately 50,398 parents to rate the education system in the capital.
In reports, it’s suggested that 78% of those parents are satisfied. They were asked about teacher performance, student assessments and their children’s overall learning environment.
They also had to rate the quality of school facilities, and the curriculum. Parents were also asked to comment on tuition fees.
School Communication remains a bone of contention, with over 80% of parents suggesting they are only contacted directly if their child does something wrong.
