KINGFISHER AIRLINES LICENCE SUSPENDED

Kingfisher Airlines has had its flying licence suspended.

That’s after the Indian carrier failed to satisfy concerns that the country’s aviation regulator has about its operations.

Aviation officials say the airline will stay grounded until it presents a viable revival plan and proves that it can offer a safe and reliable service.

Indebted Kingfisher has not paid its staff for months, resulting in pilots and engineers refusing to show up to work.
