JAPANESE CARS DEEMED MORE RELIABLE

It seems Japanese cars are the most reliable.

Honda, Toyota and Lexus occupy the first three places in a reliability table of cars between three and 10 years old, compiled by Warranty Direct and What Car?.

The survey shows Hondas have only a 10% chance of breaking down in a 12-month period.

Land Rover was 36th and last in the table with a breakdown rate of 71%.

Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz are also towards the bottom of the table.
