INDIA PAYS TRIBUTE TO LEGENDARY FILMMAKER
India is paying tribute to one of its most prolific filmmakers of all time.
Bollywood producer and director Yash Chopra died at the age of 80 in Mumbai yesterday after having been ill with dengue fever for the past few weeks.
Celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor were among the first to reach the hospital to offer their condolences.
Overnight many, including the prime minister of India, tweeted their tributes to the man popularly known as the ‘king of romance’.
