FERGUSON SAYS FERDINAND TO FACE DISCIPLINARY ACTION OVER ANTI RACISM T-SHIRTS

Sir Alex Ferguson has hinted that Rio Ferdinand will be the subject of internal disciplinary action.

It’s after failing to wear a 'Kick It Out' T-shirt before Manchester United's 4-2 win over Stoke at Old Trafford.

Ferguson said he was disappointed telling reporters that he told all his players to wear the shirts it in support of the PFA and that every player should adhere to it.

The defender was protesting at what he sees as a lack of action by the group - which aims to eradicate racism from football.

Ferdinand was not the only Premier League player to snub the T-shirts.

Garath McCleary, Jobi McAnuff and Jem Karacan, Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott refused to lend their support to the campaign.
