FEDERAL TAX LAWS UNDER DISCUSSION

The Dubai Economic Council has been discussing a number of draft federal tax laws.

That’s according to UAE state news agency WAM.

However, Council Chairman Juma al Majid says that any step towards imposing taxes would have to be carefully studied and deliberated, and that a rush to impose them would have an impact on Dubai’s competitiveness.
